Netcare Akeso Stepping Stones is a small to medium size specialised addiction and dual diagnosis treatment facility. We can accommodate a maximum of 36 clients for primary care – nine in the dedicated detox unit, and 27 in the dual diagnosis unit. We also accommodate, on average, 11 clients in The Beach House for our extended care programme.
Your recovery is our main priority at Netcare Akeso Stepping Stones. We recognise that while there is community in recovery, each person also has their own unique path to walk. Our goal is to provide you with a space where you feel supported and safe, and where your individual treatment needs are met.
At the heart of Netcare Akeso Stepping Stone’s treatment philosophy is the belief that all aspects of treatment should be fully integrated. As such, our multidisciplinary team works closely with each client and, where appropriate, their loved ones, to ensure the best possible outcome for you taking into consideration your unique needs and circumstances.
Clients still experience the same special care that is part of the legacy of our 1998 founders, Carrie Bekker and Lady Victoria Spencer. Our care has made a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of people from all over the world for over three decades. At the same time, we remain leaders at the forefront of addiction treatment and rehabilitation.
